HAIR DENSITY with Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)

This is an example of Healed Scalp Micropigmentation tattoo, taken a few weeks after the client’s 4th session. It normally takes 3 sessions for a final result, but A.K ‘s main concern was that it would look unnatural, so I built up lighter layers in the beginning. 

Prior to SMP he had already tried laser therapy and he also had a hair transplant but his hair was still quite thin as you can see in the before pictures.

HIP-HOP HAIRLINE with Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)

Mohammed started losing his hair when he was still a teenager. In his early twenties he had already lost his hairline and the crown was also starting to thin.

Prior to discovering SMP he tried Finasteride, derma roller, laser comb and different types of oils but with no results.

Add HAIR DENSITY in the crown area with Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)

This is a settled result after 2 SMP sessions. The Micropigmentation tattoo covered up his thinning crown and I blended it into the sides and his hairline. 

He wanted to keep this treatment very private and he was very happy to learn that other people didn’t notice anything “strange” about his hair.

Our micropigmentation technique involved tattooing microdots onto the scalp, using a special pigment to match the client’s hair color and skin tone. The result is a subtle and realistic appearance of a full head of hair, without the need for wigs or hairpieces.

The before and after photos show the dramatic difference that SMP can make in restoring the appearance of natural hair. Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) for THINNING HAIR

SMP is very effective on longer hair as well. This cosmetic tattoo “darkens” the skin in a natural way and gives the illusion of fuller hair. It is undetectable upon close inspection 

You don’t have to shave your hair if you have a good hairline and some hair density throughout your scalp. SMP would blend in perfectly with your hair in this instance.

However, if you have a bald patch at the crown, or if your hairline has receded, then I would advise you to cut your hair short (0.5) before getting Scalp Micropigmentation done. This is to insure that the micro dots tattooed in the bald areas match the rest of your hair and blend in a natural way.

Before and After Scalp Micropigmentation for NORWOOD 7

These pictures are taken 5 weeks after his last session. SMP, also known as Hair tattoo is permitted in Islam because it is considered as a treatment of ailment.

One Session TOP UP After 2 Years

This client came after having Scalp Micropigmentation done elsewhere 2 years ago. He wanted to maintain the sharp hairline look and all it took was one session to bring it back to life. 

Note in the picture from the back, if he trimmed his hair shorter it would blend in much better with the SMP. Anyway, it’s not the end of the world, but it should be part of a regular maintenance.

NORWOOD 7 to Full Head of Hair

Ok, it may not be real hair, but it looks just like it. I remember David telling me that his wife didn’t notice anything strange with his head until he told her. That was after getting 2 sessions done already.

In general, an untrained eye will not be able to spot the SMP from your real shaved hair unless you tell them. However, you might get lots of compliments on your new hairstyle.

SMP for Receded Hairline

Stuart used to wear his hair long before the SMP treatment. He wanted to recover the receding hairline and cover up the bald patch at the crown. 

As there was no hair in those areas we could not build any density. We decided to go with the Buzz cut look. Together we designed a hairline that suits him and got his balding crown filled with micro dots. After 3 sessions his head was fully covered in freshly cut “hair” that will last for many years.
